Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how PromoLink, operated by IAMT Music 2021 SCP (“we”, “us”, “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our platform at promolink.app.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website or application. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide analytics information, and remember your preferences. Cookies may be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (remain until they expire or you delete them).

2. Cookies We Use

By default, PromoLink uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies. Marketing cookies (section 2.3) are loaded only if you accept them in the cookie banner; declining keeps them off entirely.

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled.

2.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences to provide a better user experience.

2.3 Marketing Cookies (consent-based)

If — and only if — you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, we load measurement tags from Google and Meta. We use them to understand whether our own advertising brings people to PromoLink (for example, whether an ad click led to a signup) and to build audiences for our own ad campaigns. If you choose “Essential only” or ignore the banner, these tags are never loaded.

_fbp (Meta Pixel)Attributes signups to our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns; ad audience building90 daysMeta

Google and Meta act as independent controllers (or joint controllers for audience features) of the data these tags collect. See the Google Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.

3. Email Tracking Technologies

When a User sends a campaign through PromoLink, the emails may contain a transparent tracking pixel (a 1x1 pixel image). This pixel records:

  • Whether the email was opened
  • The approximate time of opening
  • IP address and approximate geolocation of the recipient
  • Device and browser type

This data is used to provide campaign analytics to the sender (open rates, geographic distribution). Recipients can disable image loading in their email client to prevent tracking pixel execution.

Every promotional email includes a one-click unsubscribe link in compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and the ePrivacy Directive.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Apart from the consent-based marketing tags described in section 2.3, PromoLink does not embed third-party cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any cross-site behavioural tracking service; our product analytics are first-party and cookie-free beyond the session cookie.

Artist promo pages: public SmartLink pages under promolink.app/p/… are marketing surfaces of the artist or label that created them. Such a page may contain a Meta Pixel configured by that artist or label to measure their own promotion; that party determines the purposes of that pixel. PromoLink's own marketing tags are never loaded on those pages.

The following third-party services process data on our behalf but do not set cookies on your device:

  • Stripe — payment processing (Stripe may set its own cookies on the Stripe checkout page)
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and DDoS protection (may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management)

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and Site Permissions

To change your marketing-cookie choice, clear this site's data (or just the marketingConsent entry in local storage) and the banner will ask again on your next visit — or email us and we will help.

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging into PromoLink.

6. Your Rights

Under the GDPR and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPDGDD), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact us at: office@iamtmusic.com

You also have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of PromoLink after changes constitutes acceptance.
